Call for Artists Singers, song-writers, poets, actors, speakers, multi-media and visual artists: Remembering Idealism – Anniversary of John Kennedy Assassination Commemorative Program November 20, 2010 @ The 19th Street Coffee House
Hi Fellow Coffee House Artists and Musicians: I’m looking for a few musicians and artist to perform as Special Guest in a program remembering John Kennedy for the anniversary of the assassination in 1963. It should be a night of good-old-fashioned Bardic Elegies and Protest remembering a kinder gentler time in America.
The program is hosted by Jeanie Dean and features poetry and music on JFK and the assassinations. Please join in performing at this very special event with your original work or music covers.
There are more than a hundred published songs about JFK for interested musicians to perform. Check out this website. Song about JFK at TurnMeOnDeadMan.com http://turnmeondeadman.com/index.php?option=com_jfk&task=ViewJFKTrack&jfkID=1&Itemid=88
If you would like to play, sing or read, Please call Jeanie Dean 414-546-3251. I am trying to set up the program by Labor Day.
Jeanie Dean
