The Coffee House celebrates the kick off our 42nd season with our annual Sampler Concert on, a FREE event to welcome back our loyal patrons and give you a taste of upcoming performers this season at The Coffee House featuring MUD RIVER LEE, RICK & URIEL OLSON, BRETT KEMNITZ, HEIDI SPENCER, JOANN CHANG, TOM BERSH, ERICK ANDERSON and BASIC JOE HOLLAND. Free Admission! 8pm

Sat. Sept. 6 - THE THREE-EYED SHMELTS - this trio of bass, guitar & percussion blend folk, rock and blues into a unique, entertaining view of the American experience! $5 suggested donation 8pm

Fri. Sept. 12 - ACOUSTIC MUSIC / SPOKEN WORD OPEN STAGE. $3.50 suggested donation 8pm


Saturday, September 13

Sat. Sept. 13 - KAIA FOWLER writes and covers songs that blend powerful vocals with sensitive guitar work pulling listeners into a musical experience reminiscent of artists such as Joni Mitchell and Patty Griffin. Opening will be Coffee House manager basic JOE HOLLAND who will be performing some of his new original songs recently added to
his Earth- and Spirit-based repertoire. $5 suggested donation 8pm


Sunday, September 14

Sun. Sept. 14 - Living Activism Night presents a benefit for THE IRAQ MORATORIUM. The Iraq Moratorium is a national grassroots effort which asks people to break their routines on the third Friday of each month and take some action, individually or with a group, to oppose the war. Since September 2007 there have been over 1,200 events across the country. In Milwaukee there is a rush-hour rally at 5pm on the corner of Water & Wisconsin. Learn more at www.IraqMoratorium.com.
